Eddie Adams - It's that Time of Year Again

Want to have a life-changing, intense visual experience with 99 friends and equally as many heavies in the woods of upstate New York? If you're still a student or have 3 years experience or less, then it's time to apply. You have until one minute before midnight on May 14th to get your application in.

The 20th anniversary of the Eddie Adams Workshop is this year, and knowing the folks who put this thing together... it's gonna be good. Big things are happening... big things you're not going to want to miss

Two years ago, Jessica Stuart, workshop producer extraordinaire, wrote a fabulous blog post for us here at APAD, and I've sent many an inquiring young mind to it since. She pretty much answers everything you could hope to know about the application process and the workshop itself. Everything applies this year (except the application date -- which, again, is May 14.

And if you feel like you still need a few more words of wisdom, Jim McNay has a great article up called "The Zen of the Eddie Adams Portfolio. McNay says that "Putting together a portfolio for the Eddie Adams Workshop can seem to require the facility to solve the classic description of Russia -- "A puzzle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma." But reminds you that first, you need to relax and remember it's all about good photography.

Good Luck.
