PDN Photo Annual I got a sneak peek when I got the magazine in the mail a few days ago, and it's taken until now for them to get the PDN Photo Annual 2007 online so I could share it with the rest of you. As always, some terrific work... And this time it's good to see friends Matt Eich, Andrew Henderson, Vincent Laforet, Ben Lowy and James Pomerantz amongst the winners. My favorite parts of the annual are always the Books and Personal Work. I love a good photo book, and have Boogie's It's All Good, Christopher Morris' My America and Richard Renaldi's Figure and Ground on my bookshelf. All worthy of being honored. But I'm also appreciative of the other books on the list, because now I've got a few more to lust after. The personal work, is amazing, especially that of Charlotte Oestervang, Ziyah Gafic and Andrea Camuto. Stuff like that inspires me to go out and make work that matters.
