Take one Jesus, a cast of 575 of his followers, add some camels and donkeys set upon a stage that makes Broadway look like a puppet show and you have the Prestonwood Baptist Church's annual Dallas Christmas Festivial. Backstage, members of the 14,000 congregation church in Plano, Texas, ready themselves to bring the meaning of Christmas to life in a spectacle that grabs the eyes with show, but drives their point home as to why hundreds of people in the church volunteer night after night telling "the greatest story ever told."
