From the desert north of Chihuahua, 48 hours south to the highland jungles of Oaxaca,

these photographs represent the better part of two month-long bus trips from Denver,

Colorado to Oaxaca, Mexico and back again. Mexico is a rich, colorful, and regional country

with distinct flavors in each state. With only two months time, and a personal interest in seeing

the continent as it changes from my home in the Rocky Mountains all the way south into the

heart of Mexico, Matt Slaby set out to capture tiny slices of Mexican life, one stop at a time.
