Like an Atom Bomb

APADers have images from the Tsunami including Rob Finch and Ben Lowy. If the link for Lowy doesn't work go to Corbis and search for "lowy" and "aceh"

In related news, VII also updated their site and one sequence by Gary Knight is quite powerful "Rama Setia street which runs along the coast by the port in Banda Aceh was the first street to be hit by the 12 meters high Tsunami that was moving at 300 mph. " It looks like photos from the WWII atom bombs and in terms of the scale of people killed in a single event it's really the only thing of which to compare it.

James Nachtwey and John Stanmeyer also of VII have images on the Time site.
